Prevention is the best defense against a ransomware attack

JUST THE CYBERSECURITY FACTS

Ransomware threats will escalate in 2022 based on the magnitude and success of cyber-attacks in 2021, according to a joint advisory issued by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and National Security Agency (NSA). Ransomware is malware that employs encryption to hold a victim’s files, databases, or applications at ransom. Cyber-criminals then demand payment to restore access. To provide defense against a ransomware attack and ensure business continuity, we’re pleased to announce a new NCSF Ransomware Risk Management course in our cybersecurity training roster.

DEFEND AGAINST RANSOMWARE

An impenetrable defense is the best way to keep hackers at bay. Our one-day NCSF Ransomware Risk Management course is based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Profile, which aligns with Federal cybersecurity standards and offers technical and business professionals in-depth guidance on preventing ransomware attacks and minimizing the impact of an incident.
