So let’s get to work!The Epic Consultant (certified in Resolute Professional Billing) will:- Formulate and define system scope and objectives based on user needs. - Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. - Design, code, test, debug, document and maintain those programs. - Consult directly with clinical and business users, and provides second-tier support to end users to ensure reliable application system availability and performance. - Provide ongoing support and enhancement for our client’s Epic system.- Ensure accurate data is captured for functional area of expertise and ensures proper utilization of the Epic system takes place by end users. - Act as a resource to functional area of expertise for training, and stays updated on process flows to ensure best practices are adopted for our client to get the best use out of the system. - Serve as a senior resource and mentor to others on the Epic team.- Partner with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. - Provide Tier 2 support to end users for server or mainframe applications, and hardware. - Design, code, test, implement, maintain and support applications software that is delivered on time and within budget. - Analyze and direct the development and creation of new code or the redesign, implementation and repurposing of existing code. - Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. - Must have a minimum of 2 years Epic experience- EPIC Certification in Resolute Professional Billing- Ability to understand and make recommendations on effective I.T. and business practices - Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred- General knowledge of University and Medical School culture and practices
