So let’s get to work!The Windows Administrator will: - Be responsible for designing, analyzing, deploying, integrating, optimizing, configuring, evaluating, testing, debugging, and administering applications, software programs, and the underlying program, network, and physical and/or virtual infrastructure necessary to adequately support their operation. - Use their command of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and system requirements to recommend and document specific elements of architecture including servers and their components, networking and related appliances, and third party software and programs. - Seek out and recognizes opportunities for process improvement, re-engineering, automation, and employs practices intended to improve customer satisfaction and reduce costs. - Consistently leverage their significant expertise and skillset by routinely providing guidance and mentorship to peers during informal knowledge transfer opportunities and formalized training, and acts as a point of escalation for needs within and outside of conventional business hours. - Schedule in advance or in an on-call capacity according to the needs of the organization.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Server operations in an Enterprise environment- Active Directory Administration (2003, 2008, 2012) experience- Group Policy Management (2003, 2008, 2012) experience- Windows 2008/2008 R2 and Windows 2012/2012 R2 Server Administration experience - Experience with System Administration tasks for Microsoft Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 R2 (software installation, performance diagnostics, issue resolution, etc.)- Windows IIS Web administration experience - Experience with Server, Storage, and Windows technologies- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred- Experience with Microsoft Systems Center (App Controller, Configuration Manager, Data Protection Manager, Orchestrator, Operations Manager, Service Manager, Virtual Machine Manager) (2012 R2 preferred)- Citrix XenApp (v6.x) XenDesktop (7.x is a plus) experience- Experience with Microsoft Windows backup products (HP Data Protector, Symantec Backup Exec, MS DPM, Window Backup, etc.)- Experience with Microsoft Windows Internet Services (IIS, SMTP, FTP, etc.)- SAN Storage experience preferably HP MSA p2000+, HP 3PAR- Microsoft SQL Server Administration experience - Working knowledge of ITIL V3- Familiarity with Powershell- Certifications and/or Training in Microsoft Server, Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Systems Center, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, Symantec Backup, HP Storage Solutions
