The Test Technician will:- Have the desire or ability to work on a 2nd Shift / 3rd Shift basis as primary shift.- Perform electrical checkout, integration, and test of flight hardware. - Perform certification and maintenance of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE). - Perform component and System level spacecraft testing.- Execute satellite test scripts using spacecraft command and telemetry ground system. - Support launch campaign system testing and final vehicle preparation at launch sites. - Troubleshoot EGSE and spacecraft discrepancies, as needed. - Support RF payload group testing. - Learn and develop proficiency on ground command and telemetry support systems. - Evaluate and implement Lean solutions to decrease test cycle times. - Mentor Junior Technicians. - Support Complex Troubleshooting of EGSE and Space Craft Systems.- Have direct contact with satellite space flight hardware and electrical ground support equipment (EGSE). - Be under minimal supervision while responsible for certification and setup of EGSE; Electrical integration and safe to mate of components; component and system level spacecraft test activities. - Work in small groups and must be able to take direction and utilize basic electronic training and experience to support integration and test activities. - 2-year Associates degree OR Bachelor's Degree OR Military Electronics Experience - Fabrication experience with cable harness and cable connector assembly and repair - Candidate must have ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)- Due to government imposed security requirements, only U.S. Citizens will be considered
- Familiarity with Electrical Test Equipment (oscopes, DMM’s, Function generators, etc.) - Experience with troubleshooting of Electronic Components - Previous Fabrication and assembly experience
