The Configuration Management Analyst will:- Play a role in the day to day run function of the Configuration Management Team. This position will also assist in the Asset Management domain. - Support our process of configuration identification, status accounting, configuration change management, verification and audit. - Plan, manage and control product baselines, while playing a role in performing all technical administration activities related to the CMDB (but not administer the ServiceNow platform holistically). - Assist in the day to day run activities for the Configuration Management Team (researching Configuration Items, metrics, participating in Change Advisory Board meetings) as well as serving in a role assisting in the smooth transition of our data center environments from a Configuration and Asset Management standpoint. - Be able to see work through from inception to completion without heavy oversight. - Manage technical functions including review and documentation of data sources and dependencies. - Understand and maintain the position of CM in the ITIL framework including its relation to key business drivers.- Attend and actively participate in Change Management meetings representing the Configuration Management Team. - Implement the Configuration Management (CM) system engineering process for establishing and maintaining consistency. Maintain functional and physical attributes as well as support new requirements and designs for production operations.- Provide CM oversight to verify that systems perform as intended. Identify and document for support its projected life cycle. Facilitate orderly management of system information and system changes. - Work with the consumers of the CMDB (Infrastructure, Application Support, other Service Management domains, etc.…) to enhance the CMDB to better serve their needs and enhance ease of use.- Perform other duties as assigned.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Bachelor’s degree - 5+ years technical and related experience in the field; ITIL background preferred - ITIL Foundation certification- 4+ years experience in performing full IT asset management life-cycle activities and maintaining an asset management system- 3+ years experience with a major Service Management Platform (BMC/Remedy, Service Now, IBM etc.)- 2+ years experience in ServiceNow- 2+ years experience in managing software contract compliancy and deployment - 2+ years experience in developing, managing, and maintaining the Asset Management process and associated procedures- 2+ years experience in gathering and analyzing requirements to improve processes and procedures- 2+ years experience in defining process metrics and KPIs- Strong understanding of Configuration Management practices and principles; must have hands on CM experience in varied complex applications and database architectures- Familiarity with one or more CMDB solutions (ServiceNow, BMC, etc.)- Measurement, analysis, and reporting experience- Experience in contract review and analysis- Proficient with Microsoft suite of products including, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Project, Visio - Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
