The Senior Project Managers will:- Manage several medium to large sized project in the QMO (Quality Management Organization). These project will range in size, but generally will be 6-months + and have budgets of $2 million +. - Work with large teams of resources, including employees, other contract resources and professional services workers; need the ability to insert themselves in groups and build meaningful relationships with customers. - Be responsible for creating project charters and plans, forecasting, managing timelines, statusing to leaders, reporting on risks and road blocks, and working cross functionally to ensure project needs are meet. - Partner with Technology Managers and Directors to lead Technology projects in support of the department's strategic plan. Viewed as a project Leadership resource responsible for driving analysis, recommendations, decisions and delivery.- Define complex project plans for multiple simultaneous projects or for a single highly complex project including scope, budget and schedule and executes tasks defined in the project plan to achieve project goals using standard project management methodologies and practices.- Validate and help develop business cases with Customers, as well as develop a project charter.- Drive testing and acceptance of project results.- Partner with resource managers, Business Partners and vendors to assemble a project Team and provide ongoing motivation to drive projects to completion.- Proactively monitors risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the appropriate level of priority, visibility and escalation.- Lead and facilitate project meetings and presentations to Leadership.- Engage and initiate change leadership. - Drive Teams and Customers toward decisions.- Establish cross functional alliances within and outside of the Technology Department to drive results.- Leverage governance for project benefit.- Gain buy-in for project goals and decisions with "tough" and diverse Customer groups. - Proactively communicate plan and all relevant components of the plan such as risk, schedules, expectations and ongoing updates to Stakeholders, Sponsors and Project Teams to maintain project alignment.- Build trust and influence without authority cross-functionally and across diverse teams.- Build partnerships to collaborate and use influence to gather Customer and business requirements and communicate effectively with all project Teams and support groups.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - 1+ years Automated Testing experience - 4+ years experience in Business Requirement Forecasting- 4+ years experience with forecasting/estimating- 2+ years experience in functional testing- 4+ years experience with Project Management Institute’s Project Management methodology, processes, and tools- 2+ years experience as a QA- 1+ years experience in a Quality Center- 4+ years experience with risk analysis- 2+ years experience with roadmaps - Performance testing background, as well as project management background - Budgeting experience- Experience at having oversight of multiple projects, upwards of 30+- Ability to create solid project plans, using MS Project or other software tools- Must have experience running performance testing projects and have in depth knowledge of performance testing- Experience working in an Agile framework, particularly around Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Exposure to the Quality Center/ALM tool preferred
