The AR Administrator will:- Be responsible for the back office functions associated with the timely application of customer payments, creation of chargebacks, shortages, return authorizations, vendor compliance, proof of delivery, credit card payments and Vendor portal interface interactions. - Deliver timely application of payments from Bank Lockboxes, live checks and, credit cards. - Create, work and forward to the correct person/department of: Chargebacks, Shortages, Vendor Compliance issues, and Credit Memos. - Coordinate and follow up with the proper areas for the timely disposition of issues. - Be responsible for the timely submission of documentation that substantiate/refute deductions on vendor web portals. - Access Vendor portals to and download pertinent information that requires attention. - Obtain in Proof of Delivery receipts from the various freight carriers. - Submit claims to carriers for damages that occurred to our products. - Research and apply credits to the associated invoices. - File documentation according to departmental guidelines. - Create and maintain logs/spreadsheets in the designated “company online folders” for key performance metrics. - Prepare/maintain/create month end reports. - Function as back-up for other AR Admin. team members. - Keep Credit Manager abreast of any “problem” accounts. - Perform other duties as assigned by Credit Manager.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - High school diploma/GED- 6+ months experience in business A/R or Credit area - Must have the ability to clearly communicate with customers via phone, email, fax or mail - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook - Candidate must have ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)- Due to government imposed security requirements, only U.S. Citizens will be considered
