The Manufacturing Engineer will:- Provide manufacturing engineering support for the production of utility vehicles and riding lawn equipment. - Provide daily support to these areas regarding safety, quality, ergonomic, and tooling concerns.- Participate on Continuous Improvement teams to identify and implement ideas to improve areas of safety, quality, delivery, and costs.- Establish routings, incentive standards, and quality plans for revised operations.- Provide accurate documentation to production operators to support methods and product specifications.- Utilize QPS (Quality Production System) principles to support lean manufacturing of quality product.- Support Quality Improvement Team to identify root cause of current issues and implement corrective actions.- Investigate and implement new manufacturing processes or technology.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Science, or a related discipline- Experience with Industrial Engineering principles, such as work measurement and setting standards- Experience in a manufacturing engineering environment- Experience in the application of Lean Manufacturing principles - Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office tools of Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Understanding of electronic tools, such as Pro/E, VisView, or AutoCad for analyzing 3D models- Experience with electronic tools for creating Sequence of Events with associated work instructions- Experience in or exposure to multiple functional areas of Manufacturing Engineering, such as Facilities, Tool Design, Maintenance, Quality, etc.- Project planning and coordination experience- Experience in a union environment
