The Electrical Engineer will: - Communicate clearly and effectively to cross functional team members.- Document gain margins and conduct model validation testing and analysis.- Create electrical schematics, as well as troubleshoot electrical systems utilizing schematics.- Review and update electrical circuit requirements to meet system level performance objectives.- Conduct trade studies and identify and present alternate design options.- Evaluate design robustness by simulation and lab testing.- Understand Six Sigma disciplines, design for assembly / design for manufacturing (DFA/DFM) and apply these in the design process. - BS Degree in Electrical Engineering required with 5+ years of professional engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a related field with 3+ years of professional engineering experience - Experience in the design, build, and validation of electrical components - Candidate must have ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal)- Candidate must have authorization to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
- Experience with NX design tools preferred - Experience in developing high reliability electronics to meet military environments such as extreme temperature conditions, high G shock loads, vibration, and extended storage times preferred
