Position Description:We are looking for an innovative, professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning content for our output management software solutions. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting learning content development for our Output Management product lines – specifically our CirratoOne and Capella products. The goal of the instructional designer is create innovative and interactive online technical training for our customers and partners. You will work with subject matter experts to storyboard this content and in order to create eLearning modules that incorporate mixed media, such as a graphics, animation, text, audio and video. This position can be remotely based in North America and will be paid a base salary. No travel is required for this position. You will work collaboratively with the group you support via email, web conferencing and calls.Responsibilities include:• Create engaging learning content that enhances knowledge retention and transfer.• Work independently with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs.• Create content that matches the original charter needs defined by the timeline, budget, and deliverables.• Apply instructional design theories, practice, and methods to the project.• Act as an eLearning expert when determining, designing, and developing curriculum.• Build interactive knowledge checks to validate learning objectives.• Maintain project documentation and course structure.• Work with Training Manager to deliver content based on project milestones & timelines.• Provide thorough and detailed quality assurance of all course material.• Provide Learning Management System support in the design, implementation, and evaluation of content deployed in this environment.Success Keys:Your success will be judged by being self-motivated to complete the necessary training materials and by your excellent attention to detail.Organization Structure and Interfaces:The EOM Division at Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. comprises more than 200 employees divided between 2 groups: sales/marketing and software development/support. The EOM sales and marketing group has approximately 80 employees based in the USA plus an additional 50 employees based in our international offices. A Senior Vice-President oversees the entire sales and marketing operations both domestically and internationally. This position will report to the Technical Training Manager for the Cirrato product line and will work closely with other members of the EOM product groups on their Instructional Training needs. Applicant Requirements: • Three years of experience in instructional development and design.• Two years experience using Articulate Storyline 2 or Adobe Creative Cloud, creating eLearning with screen capture video/audio, applying instructional design models such as ADDIE, and using a Learning Management System (experience using Moodle will make you a stronger candidate).• Effective written and verbal communication skills.• You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA. No visa sponsorships are available.
