The Material Coordinator will:- Work third shift hours of 10:30pm - 7am.- Support the production line for inventory shortages, root cause analysis of issues, looking ahead to see if the line will be out of a part. - Be responsible for reporting using Excel. - Coordinate the flow of materials and the filling of Kanbans in a department of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving. - Ensure that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product. - Oversee and ensure that the inventory is correct and on time and identify problems and make suggestions involving production schedules. - Ensure material logistics follow Production Systems principles. - Coordinate the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group of the factory. - Typically be in an initial position in the organization. - Coordinate department(s) schedule performance for procuring and expediting the movement of rejected material to source. - Recommend procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management. - Find root cause of material shortages. May provide recommendations for solutions. - Utilize Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules. May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials. - Audit material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance. - Count and resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production. - Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - 4-year degree - 2+ years of Supply or Inventory Management experience - Proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel - Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
