The Network Administrator will: - Administer Internet Protocol (IP) addressing.- Monitor network performance/tuning, ensures capacity planning is performed, and is proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement. - Monitor network links for LAN/WAN.- Evaluate new server-based software upgrades.- Provide guidance in client computer operating systems, computer naming, and user names.- Design implementation of network. - Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, and hubs for the network systems (including wireless and VoIP).- Complete documentation of network.- Perform troubleshooting procedures and designs resolution scripts.- Be responsible for system security.- Develop and maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software. - Assist in training technical staff in implementation, maintenance and support of LAN/WANTo apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. Must have 3+ years’ experience with the following:- Experience in engineering, configuring, and managing Cisco based switches, routers and Juniper firewalls in a WAN, LAN, or WLAN data center solution- Hands on network administration skills and network management experience- Experience planning, documenting and designing network- Experience with network monitoring tools, such as Cisco Prime- Troubleshooting skills in support of Linux/UNIX and Windows servers Network devices, and Applications servers and the ability to quickly adapt to new system environments and interface with systems- Integrating with typical IT support infrastructure services: virtualized environments including virtual switching, DNS, LDAP, and Active Directory- Knowledge and experience in technical and engineering support of diverse network protocols and configurations such as: TCP/IP, UDP, Qos, MPLS, MPLS-TE, OSPF, PPP, STP, SMTP, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, NetBios, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, SSH, and other networking protocols- Following change management process including creating required change management documentation- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
