The Data Analyst will:- Join the Aftermarket Enablement Center and provide advanced data analytics and reporting. - Create advanced Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards and reports for aftermarket data and/or solutions. - Perform medium to advanced levels of data analysis using aftermarket data sources. - Complete data issue investigations and resolution verification. - Participate in advanced statistical analysis projects including data modeling and data mining.- Perform data cleansing, aggregation, and transformation. - Provide analysis of product problem data to identify and help resolve field product problems and assist in determining if corrective action is required on current or proposed products. - Apply knowledge of unit product lines. - Find new approaches to analysis using established tools, including proactive methods. - Develop new basic business processes. - Have supervisory and/or project management responsibility. - Conduct non-routine analyses and deliver results to meet the needs of functional groups. - Track trends in customer and product problems compared to goals and inform/lobby appropriate departments/units so that necessary actions will be taken. - Create complex and/or new reports for functional groups using standard approaches. - Help less experienced analysts learn product problem and/or reliability techniques. - Lead, facilitate, and participate in basic functional and process teams in the product problem resolution and reliability areas. May supervise employees in product problem and reliability analysis functions. - Develop and administer new and existing basic business processes for the areas of product problem resolution and reliability. - Manage functional and process projects for product problem resolution and reliability with accountability up to $100,000.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Advanced Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, (or another related field) required - Understanding of databases, SQL, and the ability to create queries required - Strong understanding of BI visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS Visual Analytics) required - Strong understanding of statistics and various data modeling algorithms - Experience in working with users in the creation of reports - Knowledge of tools used for data management and data warehousing - Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis - Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Understanding of equipment aftermarket processes and concepts preferred- Experience with R or Python is a plus
