So let’s get to work!The RF Engineer will:- Be responsible for performing moderately complex RF engineering activities supporting the design, development and optimization of a wireless network. - Perform RFDS creation. - Perform CIQ creation and procurement.- Perform radio propagation modeling and prediction to determine cell site location, determining equipment and power configurations, forecasting channel capacity requirements, planning and optimizing system traffic and developing design standards to ensure system quality. - Provide some training assistance to lower level engineers. - Be responsible for conducting moderately complex network system administration and design engineering activities to maximize network capacity. - Perform engineering functions related to interconnect equipment and facilities, signaling systems, switches and traffic. - Be responsible for independently performing professional engineering assignments in functional areas which involves the planning, evaluation and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria. - 2+ years of RF Engineering experience- Proficient experience with the following tools required: Atoll, Appian, MapInfo, Alteryx, ACP, Excel, PowerPoint, and Databasing- Familiarity with antennas, RF wiring/plumbing diagrams, connectors, cables/jumpers, equipment, etc.- Experience with the following tools: Capstan, Siterra, Sprint Vision- Understanding of RF parameters: PCI, PN, frequency planning- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
