This Application Development Manager will:- Manage the team’s operational daily activities. - Be responsible for staff performance reviewing, hiring, discipline and career path planning. - Assist with orientation and training of new employees as needed. - Prepare and provide staff training to ensure compliance with SOPs and Good Clinical Practices. - Represent Application Development team on sponsor audits, meetings and visits.- Be knowledgeable of corporate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies.- Proactively seek training and developmental activities related to the industry.- Provide escalation assistance and recommend potential solutions to issues. - Develop and implement standards and procedures for the team. - Manage Application Development activities for the team - Organize and lead the routine meetings, provide input to the tasks and plans.- Report to the Director of Application Development department. - Strong understanding of SDLC (Software development life cycle)- Experience in Application Development, Project Management or Clinical Operations- Proficient Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.), Internet software, E-mail- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
- Experience in an Agile environment a plus
