This Lead IT Security Analyst will: - Execute tasks as a member of information security team as assigned by management.- Assist in the development of security solutions consistent with business goals, risk tolerance and technological sophistication.- Supervise and manage the Security Operations vendors- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the engineering, architecting, and provisioning of Perimeter Security, Security Incident and Event Management and Intrusion Prevention and Detection and Microsoft Active Directory services.- Transform business requirements into system specifications.- Provides analysis and consulting on items such as IT Security Policies, Application of Group Policies (GPO’s), Network Solutions & Security, Data Security and Access Controls.- Provide monthly metrics and reporting for management.- Actively manage security projects to ensure timely delivery of solutions.- Quickly identify, analyze and make recommendations for mitigation of new and evolving security exploits and threats as they manifest in the global technology community.- Handle daily information security queries from business and IT.- Assist with incident response including performing investigative follow-up.- Point person for escalation of security operations alerts and managing incidents through remediation and post-mortem.- Express risk concerns in terms of both technology and business terms to key stakeholders.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or Management Information Systems or related field- Minimum of 5 years IT Security or Network Engineering experience- Strong project management and vendor management skills- Deep Knowledge of Network, Application and Cloud security- Experience in working with third party security operations service providers- Experience performing forensics and investigations - Knowledge of NIST and OWASP frameworks - Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Knowledge of Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin Chinese preferred- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM preferred
