So let’s get to work!The Cyber Security Lead will:- Show demonstrated network, platform and application layer security-related skills to lead and execute our varied cyber security assessment efforts (e.g. internal assessments, breach simulation, assessments of SaaS and hosting providers).- Simulate real-world attacks, assess and test our client’s ability to protect, detect, investigate and recover from breaches, and coordinate penetration testing conducted by 3rd parties. - Design and conduct security risk assessments of applications, infrastructure, and third-party services.- Conduct cyber security assessments of internal business units and third party vendors.- Conduct both remote and on-site penetration testing operating within defined rules of engagement.- Provide in-depth analysis of penetration testing results and recommend mitigation and remediation strategies.- Evaluate penetration testing tools and techniques.- Consult with system owners to define remediation requirements.- Validate vulnerabilities have been correctly mitigated or remediated.- Work with third-parties to coordinate and conduct external assessment and penetration testing exercises.- Determine the relevance and risk of emerging threats across our environment.- Develop and maintain threat models and penetration testing tools, techniques and procedures.- Communicate technical issues to non-technical people.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Must have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Security role- Experience with security assessments or assessment testing - Experience with or knowledge of various operating systems and networks, network and application security, cryptographic standards and/or PKI- Experience with scripting/coding, secure development and open source security testing methodologies- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- BA or BS degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science or related field- Experience performing penetration tests - Previous security consulting experience with a national accounting firm or security consulting company- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification or equivalent skills- Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) - Knowledge of the NIST CyberSecurity Framework (CSF) and the CIS Critical Security Controls
