Data Stream Transform for MICR Printing. LRS provides output management and data stream transform solutions for AFP and Xerox output. Source Technologies offers a family of desktop and departmental MICR (magnetic image character recognition) laser printers. Customers with AFP/Xerox print streams can benefit from distributing their check and other negotiable document printing. LRS' software enables conversion to Postscript, PCL, or other compatible format for delivery to ST MICR printers.
Data Stream Transform with Encryption. As an enhancement to the above solution, Source Technologies' offers a print stream encryption solution. The LRS-converted print stream is directed to ST's FormsPartner print server software package, which applies 3-DES encryption to the print stream for decryption by ST printers. The solution is applicable to ST printers using either MICR toner cartridges for check printing or standard toner for other types of documents. Using end to end encryption that meets AES guidelines and Federal Government encryption standards, this solution ensures secure delivery of sensitive documents and in doing so protects organizations and their customers from malicious attacks on customer data.
Output Management of Checks and IRDs. Source Technologies offers both workgroup and enterprise software applications for distributed printing of negotiable documents. LRS' software solutions provide output management for a variety of printers from virtually all vendors, including Xerox, Oce, IBM, Canon, and Ricoh. By incorporating ST's solutions with the LRSQueue communication protocol, LRS Enterprise Output Management solutions can process and mange high-volume output generated for production printers. This is ideal for centralized printing of checks as well as Image Replacement Documents (IRDs) mandated by the new Check21 law.
Forms Design. LRS in many cases encounters customers with a need for forms design/management. These customer requirements come up in situations where remote customers to an ASP (Fiserv, Metavante, and other financial organizations) require their customers to manage their own forms design/management remotely. Source Technologies' FormsPartner integrates within the LRS Output Management environment to integrate forms design and remote output management, especially for checks and IRDs.
