StreamServe and LRS share marketing and technical resources. Recently, LRS® development enabled VPSX® integration with the StreamServe environment. The move enables VPSX managed documents to be formatted and dynamically enhanced using StreamServe's document composition tools.
The joint solution allows mutual customers, needing assured delivery as well as additional formatting capabilities, to seamlessly pass documents between the StreamServe server for formatting and the VPSX server for delivery. The integrated combination enhances overall reliability and tracking of formatted documents delivered to printers using the VPSX server. VPSX software assures delivery and provides status feedback, referencing any issue by the StreamServe job number, allowing errors to be identified and resolved more easily.
Moreover, the VPSX server establishes a single point of control to simplify the overall printing environment. For critical business applications such as SAP, the joint solution facilitates rich formatting, reduces configuration and other administrative requirements, and also takes the print burden away from SAP servers.
