Florida Atlantic University headed for the Women's NCAA Tournament

After winning the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament for the first time in school history, Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team earned a No. 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament, which will be played at the Memorial Gymnasium in Nashville, TN. This is the first trip to the "Big Dance" for the Owls since moving to Division I. In Division II FAU made three appearances in the tournament.

Finishing with a 20-10 record overall and a 19-4 in the A-Sun Conference, the Owls have gone 17-4 since the new year and also has an impressive 16-1 when scoring 70-plus.
