Mount Union Switches to LRSSports

May, 2006 - The 2005 Division III National Champions, Mount Union Raiders, have joined the growing number of championship teams choosing LRSSports in quest for their bowl wins. The Purple Raiders have a strong history of dominating Division III Football by the National Championship in 1993, 1996, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2005 in the Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl in Salem, Virginia. That's eight of the last 13 years.

Mount Union is led by Head Football Coach Larry Kehres, who was named the 2005 Columbus Dispatch Ohio Football Coach of the Year in a poll taken of statewide collegiate coaches.

In addition to excellence in coaching, Mount Union has a history of excellence in its players, including a First Team selection on the 2005 Associated Press Little All-America Team, and placing four individuals on the 2005 All-American Team as announced by D3football.com.
