The New Hampshire Retirement System (NHRS) is a defined benefit plan that provides benefits to its eligible members and their beneficiaries upon retirement, disability or death. NHRS has approximately 53,000 active members including firefighters, police officers, teachers, and state and local government employees. NHRS needed their website to easily direct users from three distinct groups – active members, employers, and retirees – to the appropriate resources. Achieving this goal required careful structuring of the content on the website. NHRS also wanted an online system for managing the events they offer to members, online news releases with an archive, and a secure area accessible only by NHRS Board members.
