Job Description:
If you are an experienced Oracle DBA with the desire to join a high-caliber team of consultants who deliver exceptional services for our customers, you should contact us about this outstanding opportunity. LRS Consulting Services has over 25 years of consulting experience providing a variety of technology consulting to our customers alone and in partnership with others. (LRS) was named the 2005 Microsoft Advanced Infrastructure Worldwide Partner of the Year. LRS maintains partnerships with several industry leaders such as Microsoft (Gold Certified Partner), Cisco (Premier certified Partner), and IBM (Premier Partner).
LRS is partnering with a company in St. Louis, MO on an exciting endeavor. This endeavor is providing the opportunity for employment for an Oracle DBA. This is a great opportunity to work with two great companies at the same time on a 6 month contract to hire!
The DBA in this role will be assigned the following tasks:
Running RMAN scripts for Backup
Cloning databases
Troubleshooting performance problems
Migrating databases from Oracle 10g to 11g
Monitoring Oracle databases using Oracle Grid Control
Installing and configuring OID (Oracle Internet Directory)
Utilize NetApp SMO (SnapManager for Oracle) for backup.
This position will also be on call every three weeks.
This position is located in St. Louis, MO and candidates must be willing to reside in the area. Relocation compensation or per diem will not be available for this position. Therefore, the right candidate will be motivated to make a move on their own for this exciting role!

Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
At least 5 years of experience with RMAN scripts, cloning, and troubleshooting database performance problems
Experience with Oracle 10g
Experience with NetApp SMO (SnapManager for Oracle) tool.
Oracle 11g experience
Oracle Grid Control
OID (Oracle Internet Directory)
Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship for this contract to hire opportunity. Third party candidates will not be considered.
Optional Skills:
SQL Server DBA experience would be a huge plus.
