Job Description:
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Software Tester for a contract to hire opportunity in Allen, TX.
Job role:
The Software Tester in this role will be providing software testing and evaluation of new or modified software applications; creates, prepares, and conducts quality assurance reviews and develops and executes test plans and test scripts.
This individual will have day to day responsibilities that may include but are not limited to:
• Develop, publish and implement test plans based on business requirements
• Write and maintain test automation scripts
• Maintain the integrity of the Quality Assurance environment
• Generate test data for test cases
• Report testing results to appropriate project leadership
• Execute test plans to properly validate business and technical requirements are met
• Enter and manage project defects as needed
• Responsible for the quality and correctness of changes to the production environment
• Track bug counts caught and missed
• Rollout code to production environment

Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
• Must have minimum 7 years Testing/Quality Assurance experience
• Must have strong working knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies
• Experience with testing automation tools
• Experience in development of test cases
• Experience in execution of test cases
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
Optional Skills:
The following is preferred:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
