Job Description:
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a COBOL Developer for a 6 month contract in Central Illinois.
Job Role:
• Perform development and enhancements to an existing mainframe transportation legacy application to implement business process changes in a batch and on-line environment.
• You will be working with a large project team including contractors and client staff.
• This project team will be managed and directed in your daily activities by a client project manager with project deadlines and weekly status reports required.

Requirements:
8+ years experience developing and supporting COBOL applications.
3+ years experience with JCL, CICS, IMS, DL/1 and DB2.
2+ years experience developing and/or maintaining product transportation related applications.
Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Optional Skills:
Rail business knowledge is preferred however, resources with solid Container business background and possibly trucking related experience will be considered a plus as well.
