LRS Consulting Services has over 30 years of consulting experience providing a variety of technology consulting to our customers alone and in partnership with others. LRS is successfully partnering with a company in St. Louis, MO on an exciting endeavor. This endeavor is providing the opportunity for employment for an EMC Storage Architect. This is a great opportunity to work with two great companies at the same time on a six month contract position. This position could eventually turn into a permanent role!
Our client is looking for a high level EMC Storage Architect. This engineer must understand EMC inside and out; this includes the design and architecture aspect as well as the budgeting aspect. This storage engineer should be strong on both sides; architecture and hands on. Our client is currently running EMC DMX-4.

Requirements:
-Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in the storage solutions area
-Must have Storage Area Network design and architecture level experience
-Must understand the full EMC suite of tools
- Experience with EMC DMX 4
Experience with SRDF
Experience with Split Mirror Backups
Experience with BCV
Experience working with Large databases
Experience working with both UNIX and Windows is preferred
NAS experience
Experience performing Data Migrations
Experience with backups technologies – legato
Experience with Archiving
Experience with Caching
Experience with Celerra
Experience with Centerra
Understanding of VTL – virtual tape library and ETL – electronic tape library
-Familiarity with standards and regulations affecting data a plus (e.g., ITIL, CobiT, etc.)
-Must have solid project management, budgeting, planning, and organizational skills
