Job Description:
LRS Consulting Services is seeking an IT Architect for a permanent position in Central Illinois.
Job Summary: IT Architect needed to take responsibility for the strategy, standards, oversight, & project/design support of our client’s infrastructure ecosystem. The sphere of technologies includes, but is not limited to, networking, storage, server platform, desktop platform, mainframe and infrastructure related support software.
In addition to the technical competence, the candidate must be able to show benefits, strategy alignment and reduced core expenses for technical proposals. Therefore, the candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as they will interact with all levels from C-level to the technical implementer.

Requirements:
5+ years of architecture experience with emphasis in leading enterprise software project teams
2+ years of experience with IT Operations processes such as Change Management, Backup/ restore, Problem resolution
1+ year of experience with all of the following:
•TCP/IP networking; especially with CISCO technologies
•Microsoft related technologies such as: Desktop and Server OS, Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM
•VMWare virtualization
•VDI technologies; such as Citrix or VMWare View
•Hosting and cloud computing
•SAN expertise
•Desktop environment management; deployment, backup and security
•Mainframe environment management
•Project Management
Must have a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and interact well in a team environment
Must have a demonstrated commitment to continuing education.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in the United States without company sponsorship.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using the English language.
