Description of Assignment: LRS Consulting Services is looking for a Project Manager for our client in Nashville TN. This is a high-profile position that will allow your skills to shine! LRS has over 25 years of consulting experience providing a variety of technology consulting to our customers alone and in partnership with others. LRS was ranked as number 199 in 2008 Software Magazine 500 listing.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Prior professional experience should include project management experience with a big 4 consulting firm or working as a business partner to drive projects for any department or field from the business side. This is not an IT PM position, but it is for a technical company so this PM must have a keen understanding of how technical departments work and the needs of technical departments. No specific technologies are required. Prefer international PM experience. The successful candidate can operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment while managing multiple projects concurrently. Candidates whose careers have focused primarily on IT projects will not be considered.

The Sr. Project Manager position will work closely with the Director of Office of Care Initiatives and internal customer base to understand business goals and solution needs, while actively participating in business requirements definition meetings. Completely interpret the business requirements into vision, strategy, approach, and all implementation plans. Translate the business requirements of areas affected by the project and the supporting areas required to effectively complete the project as defined. Working with the business owner, the Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for defining the measure of success for the project which should encompass goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use cases, test cases, training needs, etc. as necessary for all project assignments. The Sr. Project Manager may be managing programs (groups of projects) or multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

Basic Requirements:
•A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior PM
•Bachelor’s Degree
•Prior professional experience should include project management experience working to drive projects for any department or field from the business side.
•Prefer international PM experience.
•Certifications highly preferred.
•Must have experience working with internal customer base to understand business goals and solution needs.
•Must have experience actively participating in business requirements definition meetings.
•Must be experienced at completely interpreting the business requirements into vision, strategy, approach, and all implementation plans.
•This is a high level position for someone that can work to determine business justification, ROI, road map etc. to lead decision making.
•Must have experience translating the business requirements of areas affected by the project and the supporting areas required to effectively complete the project as defined.
•Must have experience defining the measure of success for the project which should encompass goals, objectives, strategy, scope, budget, scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, approach, requirements, deliverables, timelines, work breakdown structures, use cases, test cases, training needs, etc. as necessary for all project assignments.
•Need to have experience managing programs (groups of projects) and multiple projects simultaneously.
•Must have experience managing large (1m+) budgets. Must have experience delivering on time, on budget, and have had ultimate responsibility for the plan of action that led the project/program’s success.
•Must have permanent authorization to work in US for any employer without sponsorship. Sponsorship is not available. NO THIRD PARTY RESUMES.
•Relocation is not available. Candidates local to the Nashville area or candidates that will relocate to the Nashville area during contract without assistance are preferred. Rate will not reflect an increase to offset travel expenses, therefore local candidates are more desirable.

•PMP Certification is preferred
