Position: 3469 - Technical Recruiter
Category: Human Resources/Recruiting
Location(s): Dallas, TX
Department: LRS Consulting Services

Job Description:

Our growth plans require expansion of our Technical Recruiting staff, so we’re seeking an aggressive and innovative recruiting professional to actively recruit qualified information technology professionals. We need a recruiter who will find qualified technical professionals through cold calling and who can be convincing when presenting our company’s opportunities to these candidates. You will recruit a majority of your time for hourly staff augmentation consultants. Some time will also be spent recruiting for full time employees.

Based upon a recruiting request, you will develop leads and contact technical professionals who have the technical skills we’re seeking. You will use networking, cold calling, complex Internet searches and research to find potential candidates. You will make initial contact by phone or email, qualify the candidate, and present them with information about an employment opportunity with Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. (LRS). You will arrange for a technical screening using either an LRS technical professional or online assessments. If the candidate appears qualified and interested, you will arrange for the candidate to interview with a hiring manager.

Candidates who are hired will become employees of LRS’ Consulting Services Group. They may become full-time employees with full benefits or hourly employees with limited benefits depending on the options specified in the recruiting request. You’ll recruit candidates for networking, application development and other IT positions. Many of these positions will be based near the LRS office in Dallas, although some positions may be located in other cities.

We’re really not a hard sell. Our company has more than 30 years experience in IT consulting. We focus only on technology, we maintain valuable partnerships with other IT leaders like Microsoft, and we have diversified lines of business. Our Consulting Services group has been recognized for their excellence by the partners. If you’re ready to help our company grow by recruiting technology professionals and presenting a compelling career opportunity, this is the position for you.

You will be based at an LRS office in Dallas, TX. Compensation will consist of a base salary plus a commission plan along with full benefits. Since candidates cannot always talk during business hours, you will need to accommodate appointments in the evenings and on weekends.

Performance objectives for this position:
