Anticipating the introduction of our Innovate/Audit^™ software, LRS has recently initiated partnerships with several market leaders in the areas of secure document delivery and document auditing/accounting. This article describes three such partner offerings and explains how these solutions integrate with LRS software.

Florida-based Equitrac Corporation (Equitrac) helps organizations improve both the security and efficiency of their office printing environments with solutions that track, analyze, and facilitate chargeback for printed documents.

LRS output management solutions extend the reach of Equitrac software to handle documents from mainframe, UNIX, and other enterprise computing platforms. Critical business documents are retained on the secure VPSX^® spool client until users authenticate and release documents at the MFP for printing.

Pharos Systems International (Pharos) is an industry leader in output cost management and cost-recovery solutions. From offices in New York and New Zealand, the company develops and markets a suite of print asset management software tailored to the higher education and office printing markets. Among their offerings are hardware and device-embedded software clients to verify user identity and location before output delivery.

Pharos' Blueprint Server software and Secure Release Here components facilitate departmental chargeback, cost accounting, policy printing, secure document delivery and related functions for Windows-generated output. Together, LRS and Pharos developers have worked to extend these functions beyond the realm of office printing to address the needs of LRS’ enterprise customers.

Ringdale, Inc. (Ringdale) is an enterprise provider of print roaming and secure printing solutions. With hardware, device-embedded software, and server-based offerings, Ringdale’s FollowMe solution turns regular printers and MFDs into on-demand output delivery devices. Each user’s output is held in a secure queue and only released upon positive user identification at a FollowMe-enabled device (PIN, RFID proximity card, biometric scanner, etc.)..

The FollowMe solution delivers improved output security for Windows-based documents. For output originating on — and intended for — destinations outside the Windows environment, VPSX software works in tandem with Ringdale software to provide the same high level of security.

Multiple options for improved customer flexibility

All three of these secure delivery solutions have been thoroughly tested by LRS development and systems engineering staff to ensure seamless integration with VPSX software. Customers who are already using one of these third-party solutions can contact LRS to learn how to fully integrate them with their existing LRS software.
