Based on a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), PensionGold PE is extremely flexible to fit the specific demands of individual pension funds. Yet it is also comprehensive retirement software, offering such features as active member tracking, a powerful benefit engine that can implement even the most complex benefit formulas, and a full-featured benefit payroll system.

Browser Based

More and more pension systems are requesting browser-based applications to eliminate the cost and effort of purchasing, deploying, and maintaining specialized software for remote PCs around their organization. PensionGold PE is the pension software that delivers the solution.

Designed from the beginning as a true browser-based application, PensionGold PE is certified compliant with W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards. Compliance means that pension funds are assured that PensionGold PE supports popular browsers including Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

User Centered

Based on client communication and two decades of experience developing pension administration software, LRS has designed PensionGold PE screens to work the way most users do. The application uses context-specific home pages to consolidate the most commonly referenced information and tasks for each type of account on a central page.

Viewing an active member? On that home page, the system presents options for performing a benefit estimate, initiating a service purchase contract, or posting interest. Switch to a retired member and PensionGold PE responds, providing home page options such as viewing payment history, managing insurance and deductions, or changing withholding elections. Whether it's a user, a member, a benefit recipient, or an employer, there's a home page that puts the pertinent information at your fingertips.

Configurable

LRS® pension technology architects built PensionGold PE using an SOA that makes the application faster to implement because our team can configure it to meet your needs instead of having to customize it by re-writing base code. What's the difference?

Customizing means changing the system by adding to or modifying the base code-that's the way the vast majority of software applications are changed, and it leads to a very brittle, unstable solution that is very difficult and very expensive to maintain and enhance over time. Configuring, on the other hand, means easily changing the solution without ever touching the base code.

We've designed PensionGold PE to be so configurable that we have virtually eliminated the need to ever change the base code. No other vendor can make that claim.
