So let’s get to work!The Penetration Engineer will:- Work with other IT professionals providing quality assurance and security guidance for a centralized software testing environment. - Collaborate with Software Testers, Developers, and Systems Administrators to enable robust testing of applications in a virtualized environment.- Contribute to testing for weaknesses in customer systems, building on methodologies as promulgated by NIST, ISO, etc. to ensure useful, measurable, and repeatable methods applied to quantifying risk.- Support monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting of cybersecurity issues.- Select, install and configure security testing platforms and tools or develop tools and procedures for vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.- Perform vulnerability assessments using automated tools.- Perform manual penetration tests and validation of vulnerability scan results.- Develop automation/scripts for replicating vulnerability validation and penetration tests.- Devise plans and scenarios for various types of penetration tests.- Document exploits and results in remediation and final report.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Must have experience penetration testing- Experience in penetration testing of databases- Must have experience with technologies like SQL Map, Metaspoit, BurpSuite and/or Kali Linux- Experience with large organization networks- Experience with regulatory compliance, policy development and/or policy enforcement- Experience with network or system security- Programming experience with focus on penetration testing or process automation- Must have experience penetration testing- Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) Certification required or the willingness to obtain this cert once hired- Must have an active Secret Clearance or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)- Corp to corp candidates will not be considered
- Four year technical degree such as Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a related field highly desired
