The .NET Developer will:- Serve as a technical consultant to provide and support software applications that meet or exceed business needs. - Work on complex computer programs and defined segments of highly complex programs. - Be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures, and perform most complex applications development related tasks without guidance. - Advise on project sizing and estimation.- Be expected to proactively contribute and offer recommendations for architecture and design decisions.- Actively contribute to the development of solutions and ideas that add value. Engage with system users and business analysts to identify system enhancements and/or new applications to meet business needs.- Develop elegant and simple solutions.- Create quality design documents to illustrate how the system works. Write clear and detailed technical specifications for development of the application.- Adhere to the “big picture view” of how various connected system designs should be consolidated or affected.- With very minimal support or mentoring from others, produce products on schedule.- Produce elegant and efficient designs, high performance and scalable code that will allow for easy extension to future needs.- Produce high quality and reliable code; have strong quality code metrics.- Effectively perform code walk-throughs. In conjunction with Quality Services, proactively perform extensive system testing to ensure that the systems work efficiently and are developed following the applicable development methodology. Unit tests to ensure accuracy.- Have a track record of identifying largest risk areas and driving resolution of these issues.- Initiate and actively facilitate meetings and issue resolution, involving the right individuals.- Assume responsibility for self and team. Maintain the “big picture view”, seeing overall situation; remain aware of what other engineers are doing; make sure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met.- Serve as a contact person in support of more serious production problems.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com.
