So let’s get to work!The QA 508 Compliance Tester will: -Be responsible for testing compliance with government accessibility (508) requirements.- Interpret the GSA Government Section 508 Accessibility requirements, develop test procedures and accessibility testing concepts. - Coordinate and prioritize 508 Compliance testing activities and the work with multiple development teams and software projects. - Perform test plan development.- Complete 508 Compliance test execution.- Handle bug management and error tracking.- Write test report documentation.- Develop and interpret network architecture diagrams.To apply, please submit your resume to hropp@LRS.com. - Must have a minimum of 5 years of structured software quality assurance engineering experience (with emphasis in 508 Compliance testing)- Experience with 508 Compliance test scripts and reporting of test results- Experience with 508 Compliance testing of web software applications - Must have the ability to independently troubleshoot software 508 Compliance issues- Understanding of the formal software development process and quality assurance standards- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar discipline- Experience with executing functional, usability, and deployment testing - Operating system management experience with Windows Server 2012- Operating system management experience with Unix/Linux- Experience with configuration of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS)- Scripting Proficiency (i.e. Dos, Bash, Perl, Python, and/or VBscript)- C# development experience (Microsoft Visual Studio)- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and SQL scripting- VMware Server/Desktop Virtualization- Experience with source control management software, such as Subversion (SVN)- Working background in GIS technologies such as ESR, including ArcSDE, ArcIMS, ArcGIS- Test execution experience in .NET/C#, Java, and Pega environments- Experience with commercial bug management systems
