The Missouri Department of Transportation and Patrol Employees’ Retirement System (MPERS), a valued LRS customer since 2006, is in the process of moving from PensionGold® Version 3 to PensionGold Version 4, marking a major milestone in the pension administration system’s ongoing modernization journey.

The new solution includes a full transition to LRS’ latest system architecture, delivering a host of new features and performance enhancements.

As part of the new system, MPERS is also moving to LRS’ cloud-based Managed Hosting Services. This migration provides enhanced data security, system reliability, and disaster recovery capabilities—essential features for a public pension system serving thousands of Missouri employees and retirees.

The implementation of PensionGold Version 4 was timed to align with the upcoming rollout of Missouri’s new statewide payroll system. By completing the project ahead of those changes, MPERS has ensured a smoother integration and avoided disruption for staff and members alike.
