Prevention is the best defense against a ransomware attack

Ransomware threats will escalate in 2022 based on the magnitude and success of cyber-attacks in 2021, according to a joint advisory issued by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), and National Security Agency (NSA). Ransomware is malware that employs encryption to hold a victim’s files, databases, or applications at ransom. Cyber-criminals then demand payment to restore access. To provide defense against a ransomware attack and ensure business continuity, we’re pleased to announce a new NCSF Ransomware Risk Management course in our cybersecurity training roster.

An impenetrable defense is the best way to keep hackers at bay. Our one-day NCSF Ransomware Risk Management course is based on the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Profile, which aligns with Federal cybersecurity standards and offers technical and business professionals in-depth guidance on preventing ransomware attacks and minimizing the impact of an incident.

Add in-depth, standalone ransomware instruction to extend your education with our limited-time offer. Students who enroll in either the NCSF Practitioner or NCSF Bootcamp course will receive a 50 percent discount on the new NCSF Ransomware Risk Management course. Any student who has already completed one of our NCSF training courses may also utilize the 50 percent discount for NCSF Ransomware Risk Management training. This offer is valid on public courses scheduled through June 2022, and no other discounts apply.
